Since the time Shelly was 12 years old, she remembers never feeling comfortable in her body in relationship to her breasts, always wishing they were a different size and believing that if they only looked the way she thought they *should* look then she would feel confident and beautiful. After breast feeding her children, this feeling and belief only intensified. This led to her getting breast implants. She found to her dismay, that her new perky breasts did not change the way she felt about her body, or her self confidence. She wore clothing to conceal her breasts and the shame she felt about them. Determined to learn to love and accept her body, Shelly began the work of healing her disconnect to her breasts, and feminine body. A few years ago, Shelly began noticing symptoms of Breast Implant Illness (BII) and sought out a surgical explant. Single, and with severely scarred breasts, Shelly found old wounds resurfacing and began applying her knowledge and training in Eden Energy Medicine® to her self love and breast reclamation journey.
